My fandom uses ship names or portmanteau. Can I prompt that?
No, state character names, e.g. Regina Mills/Emma Swan (OUAT) or Abby Griffin/Raven Reyes (t100), instead of ship names like Swan Queen or Doctor Mechanic. That makes it easier for us to handle when we organize the prompts for the Linked List of prompts.
What does "the kink is your prompt" mean?
Pick a kink! The kink is your prompt (e.g. ST Discovery: Katrina Cornwell/Ellen Landry, caning).. Prompts should be a kink or kinks only. Detailed scenario prompts and prompts that are not kinks will be deleted. Can I post more than one prompt?
Post as many prompts as you want, but please >only one prompt per comment.
Can I prompt kinks like non!con?
Yes. Incest, noncon, dubcon, etc. are fine. Nothing is off limits This is your warning.

What about Real Person Fiction (RPF)?
Yes, RPF is welcome.
Do I have to prompt anonymously?
Yes. Post your prompts anonymously. Anonymous commenting is enabled. You don't need an account to comment!
Can I prompt genderswap? What about non-binary characters?
Femslash prompts only. This means any character that identifies as female with any other character that identifies as female. Part of the purpose of the femslash kinkmeme is to celebrate the female-identifying characters we have.
What about Fills? Do I have to post a fill anonymously?
You can respond to prompts anonymously or not--whatever your preference might be.
Do stories absolutely have to fit in a comment?
No. If they are too long, post in multiple linked comments. Or stories may be posted on your journal, Ao3, or other archival site and linked via comment.
Does a fill have to be fic?
No. Fills can be any medium.
Do I need to make a fill for every prompt I leave? How can you make sure everyone does that?
Well, we can't make sure everyone does that, but we ask that for every request you make, try to fill one request. It's no fun if there are loads and loads of requests with no fills!
Is there an end date for filling prompts?
No. you can fill whenever you want (yes, even prior years, just post to the relevant collection/prompt).
Can I link my fills to my Patreon account?
No. As people, we are cool with y'all making money from your craft. As mods, we feel that the meme isn't the place to advertise or link to commercial endeavors. This rule was added after the 2016 meme, when the issue came up for the first time. If you're reading fills from 2016, you may see links to Patreon accounts because we do not change rules mid-meme.
